 We made a quick trip to NashVegas for the CMA Music Fest & Bonnaroo. While our best-laid Bonnaroo plans got sidetracked with CMA commitments we did get to see a few great showcases. My favorite of this trip was Brent James who we saw Thursday night at 12th & Porter. Brent delivers a mix of Mick Jagger and Scott Weiland and the honest energy of a pre-first album superstar. Using a mix of great stage presence with classic melodic rock riffs Brent is a rising star to keep an eye on. You can check out his video at BrentJamesMusic.com

Many of you guys have probably already seen this. I had not… and figured I should post it. The Vintagent is one of my favorite blogs and a little over a year ago, Paul d’Orleans (the main Vintagent) used the site to publish a great little story on Bob Dylan and his motorcycle fascination.
